An Act to amend the Parliament of Canada Act (Parliamentary Visual Artist Laureate). Royal assent November 9, 2023 (S.C. 2023, c. 25-ish). Senate public bill sponsored by Senator Patricia Bovey (Independent Senators Group, Manitoba). Establishes the Parliamentary Visual Artist Laureate position, a two-year appointment selected by a panel including the Speakers of both chambers and the chief librarian of the Parliamentary Library.
