An Act to amend the Department of Public Works and Government Services Act (use of wood)
Amends the Department of Public Works and Government Services Act to require federal procurement to consider greenhouse-gas emissions in construction-material choices. Effectively encourages use of mass-timber and wood-based construction over higher-emission alternatives where appropriate.
