An Act to amend the Language Skills Act (Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick)
Amends the Language Skills Act to require the Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick (Canada's only officially bilingual province) to be functionally bilingual at the time of appointment. Tabled after the 2019 appointment of a non-French-speaking LG that triggered a constitutional challenge.
