The Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the province's two governing-tradition parties. Under leader Tony Wakeham it won a majority in the October 2025 general election, ending the Liberal government that had held power since 2015, and Wakeham was sworn in as the 16th premier on October 29, 2025.
