Pascale Dery is the Quebec Minister of the Environment in the Frechette CAQ cabinet, succeeding Benoit Charette (now Transport) in the April 15, 2026 swearing-in. Coalition Avenir Quebec MNA for Repentigny since 2022. Before politics she was a long-time political journalist and broadcaster. Previously served as Quebec Minister of Higher Education from 2022 to 2026. Her environment portfolio covers the Quebec cap-and-trade carbon market, the federal-provincial Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act litigation, and Quebec's coastal-erosion adaptation strategy.
