Paul St-Pierre Plamondon is the Leader of the Parti Québécois (since October 9, 2020). He sits in the National Assembly for Camille-Laurin (elected at a by-election October 3, 2022). Before politics he was a lawyer and entrepreneur. Built the PQ's electoral revival from third-place caucus status; the PQ has polled in first place in Quebec from late 2022 through 2025. Has committed to holding a Quebec sovereignty referendum within a first PQ mandate if his party forms government.
