
Hal Perry is Interim Leader of the Prince Edward Island Liberal Party (since 2023) and MLA for Tignish-Palmer Road, first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023. Before politics he was a small-business owner and community volunteer in western PEI. Took interim leadership after Sharon Cameron's resignation, while the PEI Liberals work to rebuild after being reduced to three seats in the April 2023 general election that returned Dennis King's PC government with a majority. Previously served as PEI Liberal House Leader in opposition.
