Niki Sharma is Attorney General of British Columbia (since December 7, 2022). MLA for Vancouver-Hastings, elected in 2020. Before politics she was a lawyer specializing in Aboriginal law and worked with First Nations on impact-benefit agreements. Previously Parliamentary Secretary for Antiracism Initiatives (2020-2022). As AG she has led BC's response to the Cullen Commission on money laundering, the modernization of the Police Act, and the implementation of the BC Anti-Racism Data Act of 2022.
