
Travis Keisig is Minister of Education of Saskatchewan (since October 2024). SaskParty MLA for Last Mountain-Touchwood, first elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. Before politics he ran a grain and cattle operation near Strasbourg, Saskatchewan, and served as a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool delegate. Previously Legislative Secretary for rural broadband (2020-2023). As Education Minister he is responsible for the implementation of the Parents' Bill of Rights legislation requiring parental consent for student pronoun changes (Bill 137 of the 29th Legislature, which used the section 33 notwithstanding clause).
